COMPANY PROFILE & MULTILATERAL INSTITUTIONS FUNDING CONCEPT NOTE

 

SouthPole Consulting (SC) was founded by Eng. Tendai Tidings Musasa MZweIE, C.Eng (UK), MIEEE (US) for primarily electronic telecommunications, electrical and renewable energy consultancy services. Eng Musasa has practiced 9 years as a projects director with Telecom Namibia. Eng Musasa also founded Southpole Consulting Private Limited for the purposes of continued academic and professional engagement in Zimbabwe in research for Post Graduate MPhil -PhD qualifications primarily in the field of renewable power on the Zambezi River with Verdant Power and Zambezi River Authority ZARA; notably in secondary power generation free – flow Marine Hydro – Kinetic MHK systems whose knowledge output could be applied to MHK Free Flow -Solar Hybrid Plants. Southpole Consulting P/L Research has established a research site in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and seeks establish itself in the Southern African Development Cooperation, SADC regional niche market with a focus in the fields of Renewable Energies; Telecommunications Engineering; Rail Signaling, Air Navigation systems; and monitoring networks e.g.  Security / Fire / Telemetry.  In addition to postgraduade MSc - PhD research work and postgraduate project management qualifications, Eng. Musasa holds a B. Eng (Hons) – 5 years degree in Electronic Engineering from NUST, part completed MBL studies with UNISA, Rail Signalling Advanced ETRMS  Level1 -3 (ETCS +GSM-R) Project Engineering Training @ Siemens AG and Post Graduate Project Management (PM) Certification from Stellenbosch University, RSA as well as 15 years’ experience in fields of:

  • Renewable Energy Development inclusive ownership of a test solar 9kW plant in Victoria Falls, Advanced Telecommunication Engineering Transmission Systems for Mobile Networks – IP MW Transmission Systems, Optic Fibre DWDM.

  • Rail Systems Signalling ETRMS Levels 1 – 3 ( ETCS + GSM – R), Navigation ILS4000

Eng. Musasa has had international work experience both in Africa and Europe- Germany.

Eng. Musasa was recipient of ZIE 2010 Institution Award for the ‘Most Outstanding Paper Authored by Any Person’ on a presentation titled ‘Engineering for Regional Integration’ Presented the 4th Congress of Engineers without Borders EWB SADC Chapter. Eng. Musasa has an unwavering commitment to a future role in SADC in consulting and research career in the field of Renewable Energy. Design, Installation and Commissioning of 06 Conservancy Solar Powered Irrigation Schemes + 01 Watering Hole Pilot with facilities for Cyanide poisoning prevention systems. Project Included Engineering, Procurement and Contracting EPC services provisioning.

Costing and Project Management and Implementation Design. Project Parameter Scoping.  Risk Portfolios Analysis & Management Inputs. Full System Technical Site Surveys. Document Input to the Regional Master Plan North – South Transportation and Infrastructure Development.

SouthPole Consulting has completed the Technical Site Surveys and submitted full schedule of reports and continues to report to technical and financial committees in Master Plan support roles leading to roll – out of the associated major regional infrastructure project roll - out.

MULTI - LATERAL INSTITUTION PROJECT FUNDING CONCEPT NOTE:

 

 

  • Establishment of the CCTV Enhanced anti – Cyanide Intrusion Links CECIL® concept that can be replicated in National Parks and other conservancies + Research centre of Excellence based on local research and home grown solutions. Upscale of the research centre with use of start – up COP21 Multilateral Institutions funds for climate change, biodiversity which are un-allocated for the financial year 2015.

  • Use of Multilateral institutions funds to carry out MHK Free Flow of River potential in conjunction with our partners Verdant Power Inc. in order to support economic cluster of Victoria Falls Special Tourism Economic Zone (TEZ) and our conservation programme Green Energy Elephant Support Initiative GEESI® that deals with provisioning of artificial waterholes in the KAZA area driven from our research centre of excellence at Victoria Falls using power credits for sustainable growth.

  • Champion local based research for home-grown solutions at PhD, or lower level..
